Overview
The Devon Golf Men's Team compete in the Channel League throughout the season comprising of Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Dorset, Gwent and Glamorgan.
There are 7 matches (a mix of home and away matches), alternating every other year. Each match consists of a team of 10 players playing 5 Foursomes games in the morning with 10 Singles in the afternoon. The winner of each League match scores 1 League point and the team with the most points wins The Channel League.
In addition to the Channel League the men work towards South West Week held in June each year rotated around the six SW counties as hosts. During this week the team compete against all SW counties in matchplay as well as playing a 6 man team aggregate 36 hole strokeplay championship (on the Tuesday) which determines the SW county representative at the England Golf National County Finals.
