RND WOMEN WIN THE KYOCERA CHAMPIONSHIPS IN SPAIN
Congratulations from DevonGolf to the Royal North Devon women's team of Liz Bird, Paula Gibbs, Lorna Pearce, Ruth Horn, Alison Cox and Liz McKay on winning the 2025 Kyocera Championships in Spain.
Having won 6 matches during the course of 2025, they travelled to Spain for the finals in February.
As the weather forecast was so bad for Saturday, the semi-final was played on Friday and the RND women beat Hertfordshire’s Brocket Hall Golf Club 4–1.
The final also had a delayed start, again due to heavy rain on Sunday morning and the opponents were Dundas Park Golf Club from Edinburgh. It was a tightly fought match with the RND women winning 3-2.
