GIRLS COACHING PROGRAMME UNDERWAY
The Devon Girls elite squad met for their first coaching session of the year on Saturday and Saunton was the perfect venue. The squad spent the morning focussing on 2 key aspects of the game. Firstly, shot preparation and pre and post shot routines to encourage greater consistency, confidence, control and developing the players visualisation skills. Secondly, short game and green-side scrambling with a focus on shot selection, flight and run ratios. The coaching session was followed up with a very breezy 9 holes out on the stunning West Course.
Huge thanks to Saunton Golf club for kindly hosting us and sharing your great facilities, to our county coach Jess Smart for a fantastic and highly beneficial day, to the Clubhouse team for their warm welcome and hospitality and of course to the hardworking green staff for presenting such a great condition course.
